  • identifying block values

  • colouring by attributes

  • assigning constraints

  • recording a tcl script for block model reports

  • block model reporting

  • creating strings

  • creating a dtm from strings

  • creating quick planes (sections)

  • cutting topography with boundary string

  • joining 2 surfaces (dtm's)

  • joining 2 surface to make a solid

  • validating solids

  • reporting block model volumes from solids

  • recording tcl script to create csv's

HAULSIM BASIC TRAINING - 2 DAYS

Haulage Simulation Basics

In this training course candidates will learn how to set up a HAULSIM model based on the CrawleyVille open pit demo mine and will concentrate on the following basics (client to provide licence/s):

  • importing of feature layers

  • setting up of material types

  • creating the haul road network

  • setting up traffic rules

  • creating source locations

  • creating destination locations

  • creating ancillary locations

  • setting up of loaders and trucks

  • setting up of tasks

  • setting up of groups

  • setting up of regular stoppages

  • setting up of random stoppages

SURPAC MINE DESIGN TRAINING -
3 DAYS

Basic Mine Designs

In this training course candidates will learn how to create an actual mine design of the CrawleyVille open pit demo mine. The course will focus on the following basics (client to provide licence/s):

  • importing Whittle shell

  • creating pit bottom string

  • expanding segment by bench height

  • expanding segment by berm width

  • multi-bench design

  • ramp design

  • switchback design

  • dump design

5 DAYS

Basic Scheduling

In this training course candidates will learn how to set up a LoM/Budget model using Open Pit Metals Solution (OPMS), or Stratigraphic Metals Solution (SMS), or Underground Metals Solution (UGMS) based on the CrawleyVille open pit demo mine and will concentrate on the basics (client to provide licence/s).

WHITTLE PIT OPTIMISATION BASICS -
2 DAYS

Basic Pit Optimisation

In this training course candidates will learn how to set up a Whittle model based on the CrawleyVille open pit demo mine and will concentrate on the following basics (client to provide licence/s):

  • exporting a SURPAC block model to WHITTLE

  • importing the block model into WHITTLE

  • creating a slope set

  • creating pit shells

  • creating an operational scenario

  • creating a pit by pit graph

  • creating a high level schedule with NPV 

  • exporting pit shells to SURPAC
