MinePresentAR is an augmented reality app showcasing what is possible in terms of improving the flow of communication in the mining industry. This particular app is a demo of a mining company that requires communicating and showcasing it's brand new project to the mining community and shareholders. The app takes the viewer from the current landscape to the end-of-life of the project. A lot of time and energy was spent creating beautiful mine designs and a LoM schedule, and the company feels it will not make a lasting impression if a slide presentation is used. The following Mine Planning software packages were used to create the content of the app:

• Geovia's SURPAC

• Geovia's WHITTLE

• Trimble's TOP-D

• RPMGlobal's OPMS

 

With a bespoke AR Mine Planning app from the School of Rock, you can experience those designs in 3D, in the comfort of your home or office. Any form of mining project is applicable, open pit or underground projects. These bespoke apps allow anybody with an AR compatible device to download and install the app, and experience the content without requiring special mine planning software, which means it is very effective for mass-distribution to a wide user audience.

How to get your own app for your project:

• Send an email to info@schoolofrockmining.com, explaining your project and what your requirements are. 

• Remember with virtual reality the sky is the limit. Any type of mining application can be built into an app, as long as the designs already exists in .dxf format. 

• The apps are private and will not be published on the App store or Google Play store, so confidentiality is guaranteed. Only specified email adresses that the client provide will be able to download the apps.
